Enter the water with a parawing

This is how you enter the water with the parawing, get on the board, and stand up

If you want to get out on the water at a spot with no waves, you can unfold and launch the parawing on land, hold it downwind from your body, and grab the board with your other hand. The foil should be pointing upwind (in the direction the wind is blowing from).

Without waves, it's easy to get into the water. As soon as the water is deep enough for the foil (waist to chest height, depending on the mast length), you can climb onto the board from the windward side. Hold the parawing with your rear hand and support yourself on the board. Use your other hand to crawl sideways onto the board from behind and move into a kneeling position.

That's half the battle, because the parawing can now be controlled with one hand while you align the board on a crosswind course (90 degrees to the wind direction). The other hand helps you to stand up.

This video featuring Finn Spencer shows how this works in practice.
