Parawing - Tack

The normal tack in parawinging

Finn Spencer demonstrates how to perform a tack with a parawing. A video tutorial from the Duotone Wing Academy showing the parawing tack with normal foot position.

The tack works as follows: pick up speed and initiate the turn to windward. When the board is pointing into the wind, steer the parawing from the outside of the turn to the inside. The front arm guides the handle over the head, while the other hand grips arround at the handle.

The parawing is now flying in the new direction. You can use the wing's forward momentum to pull yourself through the rest of the turn.
