Switch Stance Frontside 900

Slow Motion Clip with Nathan Berger

Nathan Berger shows the Switch Stance Frontside 900 (also called Toeside Frontside 900), a riding technique video in slow motion and prepared for both jump directions.

On a leg in switch stance riding position he grabs the wing with crossed arms and then jumps into a 2.5 spin to leeward.

On the first rotation, he guides the wing through the power zone (held upright back), then lands after another rotation switch with the wing held back and does the last turn in the water.

In the contest, the judges want to see this jump completely rotated by 900 degrees in the air, but there are also plenty of points on the scoreboard for this 720 jump + 180 degree slide. It is not easy to land this jump at all.
