Table Frontside 360

A video tutorial by Alex Mertens and Taylor Baum

The table frontside 360 is a frontside 360 that is initially initiated with an opposite board rotation. The board is turned at least 90 degrees to leeward against the direction of the jump. This part of the move is called a donkey kick or table top.

From this position, the rotation starts in the other direction. The crux of the matter is the position in which the wing is held, as it is not possible to move the board in the opposite direction just with your feet and hips.

By taking the wing tight and guiding the handles (here in the video a boom) to the hips, the wind can reach into the wing behind the axis of rotation and provide the thrust for the rotation. The compact body position does the rest.

Check out the tutorial that provides the four most important tips for a successfull table frontside 360.
