Toeside Frontside 360

Ride toeside and jump a 360

Bowien van der Linden shows the toeside frontside 360 (also known as the switch stance frontside 360). This video was filmed at the GWA tour final in Jericoacoara.

This trick is a jumped 360-degree rotation to leeward, which is initiated in switch stance (toeside). Bowien starts with the front hand in the underhand grip (back hand in the overhand grip).

The body rotates under the wing in an upright position, the wing continues to fly in the original direction and is not rotated.

At the highest point of the jump, 3/4 of the rotation is completed and the wing is then guided with one hand using the front hand. Bowien also changes the grip - the hand is turned from the underhand grip to the overhand grip at the boom. This allows you to control the wing and then grab it again with your back hand after landing.
