Turn into whitewater
In this video tutorial, you can see how to ride whitewater whaves
You don't always find clean waves at surf spots. At many local spots, waves break quite quickly and the wave rolls on with loads of whitewater (an air-water mixture).
But you can still ride these waves and do a top turn, or even jump a small aerial as shown in the video.
When you turn into the foaming foam of a broken wave, you will feel the turbulence and the foil will briefly lose its lift. The foil will go down and you will have to get it flying again.
If you adjust to this and keep your balance, you can also ride these waves. Clement Roseyro shows how it works in this video.
