Nose Grab
Tweaked jump with nose grab
Clément Hamon demonstrates the tweaked jump with nose grab. Before takeoff, the rear hand grabs the boom at the wing's point of pressure. This allows him to hold it with one hand in the air.
Immediately after takeoff, he turns the tail in the direction of travel and grabs the nose of the board with his front hand. This allows him to assist the rotation of the board, which flies through the air at a 180-degree angle at the peak of the jump. His back leg is straight and his front leg is bent.
During the descent, Clément grabs the wing with both hands again and turns the board back. You can see the entire sequence of movements clearly in the slow-motion video, a recording from the GWA World Cup in Fuerteventura.
