Backloop
Wingfoil jumping technique video
Patrice Guenole shows that you don't need to jump heigh for a backloop.
Unlike the frontside 360, where the board is turned flat (the underside of the board turns as if on a plate), the backloop involves a steep flight into the wind with the board turning at the highest point, followed by a nose-first descent, a slow turn of the wing and a landing with a nose dive.
The jump is most similar to a backloop in windsurfing: a jump as high as possible into the wind, a turn at the highest point of the jump and then steeply back to the water. So you don't jump in a circle and rotate through, but rather on an elliptical flying path.
In this backloop tutorial from Alex Mertens, the differences between frontside 360, backloop and pushloop were discussed. If you want to learn the backloop in the coming season, you should watch this video.
