Stormchase Lake Uri

Benjamin May in search of the strongest storm of the year. His journey took him to Lake Uri in Switzerland, where the windiest wing foil session of his life awaited him.

Benjamin about this adventure: "Beginning of this year I looked out for a big storm. And just after new year a big föhn storm came through the alps. Usually we go to our local lake and get around 30 knots. But this time we searched for something new. I checked every forecast and it looked very promising. Even the swiss locals told me it could be one of the windiest storms of the year. So we made our way to lake Uri. As we arrived the wind was nuking and I rigged my smallest wing. It was one of the gnarliest sessions I’ve ever had and I'm already looking forward for the next storm."
