Description

With the downwind 360 you ride a complete circle to leeward, staying on the foil the whole time. In between the wing is held in a backwinded position for a short moment. The move is also called carving 360.

The easiest way to ride the downwind 360 is to combine the race jibe and the switch stance tack. Performed one after the other, both movements result in a 360 degree circle.

With the more difficult version of the downwind 360, the wing is held backwinded. Pushing the wing against the wind generates momentum to stay on the foil.
