Foiling in switch stance and letting the wing drift - Bobbi-Lynn de Jong shows how to flag the wing and pump with the board. This works even in small waves. If the power of the wave is sufficient, you can rely on pumping with the board. If you get too slow, simply make a few pumping movements and you'll keep going.

With a flagged wing you can foil in switch stance (like shown here - toes pointing into the wind) or in normal stance.
