Frontside 360 Body Spin

The one handed version of the frontside 360

The body spin version of the frontside 360 is always jumped one handed, but can be easier to learn than the normal frontside 360.

The initiation of both jumps is the same, but in the frontside 360 body spin the back hand releases the wing in the air while the board and body continue to spin under the wing.

The wing faces into the wind with the front tube, so it is not pulled through the wind as with the normal frontside 360, but remains stationary.

As soon as the body has rotated further than 270 degrees with the front arm extended (this forms the vertical axis of rotation), the back hand grabs the handle of the wing again. The view focuses the point for the landing.

This move with a blind change of grip in the air is easier if you use a wing with rigidf handles. Without looking, it is easier to find these due to their length and straight course.

This tutorial shows the exact movement sequence of the frontside 360 body spin.
