Frontside 360 Body Spin
Category: Jumps
Level of difficulty: Level 4 (from 4)
Special characteristics:
- this trick is a jump
- one handed trick
Description
With the frontside 360 body spin, you jump a rotation to windward. You turn your body and the board 360 degrees with just one hand on the wing. The wing is not rotated, the leading edge of the wing points exactly into the wind after take-off.
In simple terms, you perform a pirouette around the vertical axis of your body, where the board and the body rotates, but the wing is held upwards like an umbrella. Sounds a bit uncool, but looks pretty radical on the water.
