Frontside 360 Body Spin
Bowien van der Linden shows the frontside 360 in the body spin version
In this version of the Frontside 360, the wing is not rotated. Instead, the body and board perform a 360 degree rotation around the vertical body axis, while the wing remains in the original direction of flight.
A change of grip is required for this jump. Both hands are in the upper grip before the take-off. During the jump the wing is guided one-handed with the front hand, while the back hand grabs it again as quickly as possible after the body turns. As soon as the back hand is on the boom/handle, the front hand also changes grip.
Here Bowien van der Linden shows the frontside 360 body spin, a shot from the 2024 GWA event in Jericoacoara.
