This is how you get on the board in deep water
This video shows how to get on the board when wing foiling in deep water, correct the orientation of the board to the wind and then stand up with the wing in your hand.
Not shown in this tutorial: If you find it too difficult to climb onto the board with the wing in one hand, you can first place the wing on the downwind side of the board. This is then held by the leash on the wrist.
To prevent the wing from lifting off on its own and pulling on the wrist, you can place the top of the wing on the water. The wing is then turned again as soon as you sit on the board.
You have the most stability when sitting (your legs are in the water on the right and left side of the board).
