Tack with late change of grip

The grip is only changed after 3/4 of the turn

With this tack variant, you can use the speed and glide through the turn as far as possible before changing the grip. You only change grip after 3/4 of the tack.

When initiating the tack, guide the wing only with the front hand to the inside of the turn and let it hover neutrally to offer as little surface area as possible for the wind to attack.

After 3/4 of the tack, the second hand grips the front position, the other is moved backwards on boom.
